Skipper for a Day — your first yacht lesson in Israel
A three-hour private lesson on a sailing yacht in Herzliya or Ashkelon. You steer, trim the sails, and run the engine — with a Yachtmaster-certified skipper beside you.
3-hour private lesson Herzliya or Ashkelon 1 or 2 students Gift certificate available
Skipper for a Day is an introductory private yacht lesson built for people who’ve always wanted to try sailing but never had an excuse. Not a group tour: you’re on board with your instructor and (optionally) one friend or partner, and the yacht is yours to handle.
You’ll spend roughly thirty minutes on shore basics — parts of the boat, safety, how sails and the engine work together — and the remaining two and a half hours on the water. Real wind, real course corrections, real feel for what running a yacht is like. By the end you’ll know whether a full skipper course (ISSA, Mashit 30, IYT) is the next step for you.
