International ISSA Bareboat Skipper license — charter sailing yachts up to 24m worldwide. Instruction in English, Russian or Hebrew by Yachtmaster-level instructor.
International certificate recognised by charter companies worldwide. With it you can charter a sailing yacht up to 24 metres and sail independently — day and night, up to 20 nautical miles from shelter port.
ISSA holders can convert to Israeli Mashit 30 via a simplified programme. Great pairing for sailors who want both international recognition and local Israeli coverage.

FAQ — ISSA course
Where is ISSA recognised?
Worldwide — Greece, Croatia, Italy, Turkey, Spain, Caribbean, Seychelles — in all countries where international charter companies operate.
Do I need prior experience?
No. The course is designed for beginners. Sailing experience is welcome but not required.
Can I try a trial lesson?
Yes. ‘Skipper for 1 day’ — 3 hours of practice with a Yachtmaster. Good way to see if sailing is for you.
How does ISSA differ from Mashit 30?
Mashit 30 is the Israeli certificate from Ministry of Transport. ISSA is more international — accepted more widely by global charter companies. Many get both — ISSA for travel, Mashit 30 for local.
Age and documents?
Age 16+, any nationality. Passport for certification and possibly a medical certificate. We’ll confirm details at consultation.
