What fish do you catch off Herzliya?
Coastal Mediterranean species by trolling or casting from the boat. Exact spot and depth depend on season and weather — the skipper picks on the day.
Is tackle included or do I bring my own?
Rods and tackle are on Lee-Yam for a surcharge of 150 ₪ (group) or 100 ₪ (couples). Bring your own if preferred. Other 3 yachts in the fleet (Joy, Bagira, Louise) are sailing-only.
Do I need a fishing license?
Israeli citizens and residents need a recreational sea-fishing license. Tourists — check with the operator at booking. Rules update periodically; skipper will confirm.
Where do I keep my catch?
There’s a fridge on board for fresh fish. No freezer — long storage isn’t possible. Take the catch home after the trip. Cooking fish on board is not allowed — open flame is prohibited in marinas.
